GL-8xEP under the smart table

A fanless 8-port PoE++ switch in the pedestal cabinet, powering everything on the table, with redundant uplinks back to the network.

   On the casino floor

   A connected 7-seat gaming table. Shuffler, dealer terminal, signage and table camera all need power and network—without running a cable to each one from the ceiling.

   Inside the pedestal cabinet

   The GL-8xEP mounts inside the locked base cabinet on the dealer side, out of reach of players but easy for slot tech and IT to service.

   Meet the GL-8xEP

   Eight PoE++ copper ports for table devices, plus dual 10G SFP+ and dual 2.5G copper uplink ports. Layer 2+ features handle VLANs for surveillance, table management and guest-facing signage on one box.

   ReadyLED: ports that match the cable

   Each port glows in the colour of the patch cord plugged into it. Ease the plugs out and every jack lights up to match its cable, so a technician can trace a run at a glance and pull the right cord the first time.

   PoE to every table device

   Short runs up through the table carry power and data to each device. No wall warts or power strips on the felt, and every device can be power-cycled remotely.

   Redundant uplinks, divergent paths

   Two uplinks leave through separate floor cores and run different routes to two IDFs, so one cut cable or closet outage doesn't take the table offline. Flip between Fiber and Copper in the toolbar, or simulate a cut on path A.

   Fanless, sealed, silent

   No fan to pull in card dust, chip lint and carpet fibers inside a closed cabinet, and no fan noise at the dealer's knees. Fewer moving parts means fewer service calls during play.
