Security on any infrastructure

Cat6, telephone pair, or coax — one platform, one ReadyView pane. One security closet runs every camera, door and gate on the cable already in the ground.

  • Cat6 PoE++ · EX-48
  • ReadyLink · twisted pair
  • ReadyLink · coax
  • Fiber · 10G / 40G uplink
  • Redundant backup link

One platform on whatever cable is there

Cat6, telephone pair, or coax — one platform, one ReadyView pane. Cameras within 100 m take PoE++ straight from the EX-48; anything past 100 m, or on cable that was never meant for Ethernet, gets ReadyLink from a GL host in the same rack.

Any cable, one closet

The EX-48 for Cat6 runs within 100 m, the GL-24xT-P600D for telephone pairs and the GL-24xB-P600D for RG-59 coax, with an IPC-4STP or IPC-4SBNC at the device end of each ReadyLink run.

Redundant by design

Two pluggable power modules in the EX-48 and two internal 300 W supplies in each GL host, on separate feeds. Each host is dual-homed over two 10G SFP+ links in one LACP bundle, and the EX-48 runs full Layer 3 with MLAG, LACP and VSU stacking of up to four units.

Power where the cameras are

A 1,600 W PoE budget on the EX-48, with PoE++ on ports 1–24. 520 W per GL host on dual power (220 W on one), PoE++ up to 90 W on ports 11 and 12 of each line card, and every client powered over its own pair or coax.

Representative install. The site layout, camera types and PoE classes shown are examples; actual cabling, reach and available PoE depend on the site, the existing cable and the power modules fitted. ReadyLink runs go beyond Ethernet's 100 m: talk to an engineer for the reach on your cable.
